Dr. Yu Bai is an Associate Professor, Director of the Intelligent Computing Research Laboratory, Vice President of Artificial Intelligent at the Sino-American Biotechnology and Pharmaceutical Professional Association, and Panel of the National Science Foundation and Army Research Office. Dr. Bai is the author or co-author of over 50 referred papers in top-tier journals and conferences and has received several awards for scholarly activities. Dr. Bai is the primary investigator (PI) or co-PI of several research projects, with external funding of over $2.5 M from the National Science Foundation (NSF), the US Army Research Office, California State University Chancellor Office (CEC), private and public foundations, and the local industry. Dr. Bai also serves on the technical advisory board of industry companies. His students are active in many reputational companies such as google, tesla, Boeing, Raytheon, national research labs, and universities.
